Who runs the guide
Grant De Swardt runs Find Local Roofers at www.findlocalroofers.co.uk. The site helps households find a roofing business by town and service, with Google review snapshots where those are public.
Questions, corrections, or a missing business: email hello@findlocalroofers.co.uk or use thecontact page.
How the guide works
Search by town, postcode, or county to see roofers listed in East Sussex. Open a listing for the published details we have, then contact the business directly.
How roofers are listed
We add a business when a public website, directory, or a message to us shows roofing is the main trade. Launch coverage is East Sussex, with 338 listings on this version. More counties will use the same method.
A listing can also start from a roofer who sends details. Anyone canadd or update a listing for free.
We do not charge to appear. Nobody can pay to sit higher on a page. If a listing is ever paid or featured, that will be stated clearly on the page.
Reviews and other facts are snapshots
Google star ratings, review counts, phone numbers and websites are snapshots from published sources. Businesses change. Review counts move. Always confirm details with the roofer before you book.
Roofing cost figures, when shown, come only from named published guides on theroof repair costs page. We do not invent a price for a listing.
Trade marks we do not invent
Log Price Guide shows Ready to Burn or Woodsure when a supplier’s public pages show them. The roofer equivalent would be NFRC, Competent Roofer or TrustMark, and only where we have verified that mark. This launch has no verified accreditation data, so those badges are not shown. A missing badge does not mean a roofer lacks a mark — confirm with the business.
No scores of our own
Find Local Roofers does not assign scores and does not pick a winner. Google star figures are the business’s public Google reviews, shown as a snapshot. The site is for finding local options.
Lists are sorted by number of Google reviews. You can also sort by name or distance on town pages. That order is a way to browse, not a score we give.
Claim or correct a listing
If you run a roofing business, use the claim listing form to add a missing business or correct town, services, website, Google profile, or contact details. If you ask to be removed, we unpublish the page. That is reversible.
